  1. John says:

    That’s a cougar not a lynx.

  2. depro says:

    Isn’t that a cougar?

  3. Mari says:

This would be funny if, that was a Lynx. That animal is in fact, a Cougar or Mountain Lion or Puma.

Nice try though, let’s change the picture first.

  4. Someone says:

So…somebody went to all of the effort of making this, and found a picture to use. The most logical way of doing so would be to search for “lynx” on google images, and yet somehow they ended up with a picture of a cougar? WTF??

  5. Zehn says:

    sudo aptitude install lynx

    you’re welcome.

  6. Nebulous says:

If there were a Lynx in the picture then it wouldn’t be missing, would it?

Geez! Some people…. *wanders away mumbling to self*

  7. kirsten says:

I know what happened to your lynx. The cougar ate him.

  8. Geri says:

I don’t get the number reference.

  9. plasticfroggy says:

“I don’t know it looks like some kind of big cat.”
    “You mean like a puma?”
    “Yeah.”

  10. JKirch says:

Okay Okay, I know it’s not a lynx. I didn’t know that before I made it. I just googled Lynx, and this was one of the only large enough pictures, so I just went with it. Alright already. The numbers are supposed to be the calling code to the galapagos, but I don’t even know if that’s true.

  11. BlueElephant says:

My first thought was that it was some sort of reference to Charlie, the Lonesome Cougar, but then of course that doesn’t work since the cougar not the human is named Charlie.

  12. rattlesnark says:

    Charles Darwin?
(Also, I’m going to take a positive stance here and say you chose a really lovely picture of a mountain lion)
